Jumicar can visit your school or you can visit us at Ferry Farm Park, Hoveringham

•    To use jumicar in term time it must be pre-booked
When a school party visits Jumicar the full practice road circuit is available with lots of junctions and road signs and has up to 9 cars running at the same time which means 15 children can be in the cars at one time, either as a driver or as a passenger.

All the children will have an opportunity to experience driving the cars and to experience being a passenger with one of their friends driving. The children who are waiting for their turn can do road safety activity books, watch a road safety video or have fun in the park.
Charges £2.50 per person – includes one drive each, one turn at being a passenger and a road safety lesson. This is an additional cost to Ferry Farm charges.

Schools Programme

The track will be laid out with the give way, one way, stop, no overtaking, traffic light, people crossing and no entry road signs to enable the drivers to navigate around the track We also have working traffic lights and a zebra crossing.

            Walk the Track            

•     learn the road layout
•     basic rules – Stop and Give Way signs
•     explain and practice the green cross code and      discuss safe places to cross the road
•     discuss how the road markings and signs apply to cyclists

            Helmets and Seat Belts

•    discuss why they are needed

            Drive

•       10 minute drive and 10 minute passenger ride
•       ensure the rules of the road and road signs are observed
